Pete is tenacious in securing opportunities for JE Consulting’s clients in his PR role and is always keen to showcase their expertise through opinion pieces, expert comment and pitched articles – always keeping one eye on how these opportunities can be used to advance clients’ commercial goals.
I am a bit of a foodie and love visiting food festivals, so my tastes are always changing. However, my current passion is for Sriracha hot sauce and anything prepared with it.
It may not be the most obvious choice, but my favourite place to visit is the Windy City, Chicago. I love the atmosphere in the city and it is so much more relaxed than other big U.S. cities, such as New York.
I am always on the go, but my main passions are camping with my family, walking, playing badminton and cooking. I also really enjoy keeping up with the news and the ongoing political situation.
Who do you admire most, and why?
This is a tough one, but I would have to say Yuval Noah Harari. His books, Sapiens and Homo Deus, are exceptional. His writing is brilliant and he is a great example of how an incisive writer can change the way that you think about a subject.
If you could have one wish, what would it be?
My wish is that my daughter Molly grows up to be a happy and responsible person.
