While the world’s elite athletes are busy preparing for the 2012 London Olympics, we are gearing up for a challenge of our own a little sooner...
As a firm, we have always been committed to supporting worthy causes, which is why we are delighted to be taking part in the UK200Group’s Not the Olympics 2012 campaign, which aims to raise £50,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
So what will this involve? Well, from May until November this year, participating members of the UK200Group of independent accountancy and lawyer firms will be tasked with relaying an Olympic-style torch across the UK. This can be done by walking, running, cycling or, indeed, any other innovative mode of transport other than a modern car – anything goes just as long as the torch reaches the Olympic Stadium in November.
We will let you know in due course exactly when we will be taking part and, of course, HOW we will be doing it. However, you can help us now by kindly sponsoring us and helping to raise much-needed funds for this extremely good cause. Your friends, family and colleagues are welcome to sponsor us too – the aim is to raise as much money as possible!
