Amy Clewlow

I have quite a varied career in social media that has seen me working for journalists, charities and residential care companies. I’ve had a drive to create for as long as I can remember, starting with crayon drawings all over my moms’ walls to now (hopefully I’ve improved since then) to where I am now.

What is your favourite food?

My favourite food is a hard question as I’m a huge lover of food! But if I had to pick it would be Thai street food. I long to travel there one day although, if I’m being honest, I don’t think my spice level is quite there yet.

What is your favourite destination?

My favourite destination, as of late, is Prague. It’s a beautiful place with some of the bluntest customer service I’ve ever experienced. Although its full of hills and steps it’s a lovely place to take in the scenery and feel like you’re really immersed in a culture.

When I’m not doing that, I’m usually reading something romantic and sickeningly sweet.

Who do you admire most, and why?

I would have to say I admire my sister the most, she’s the strongest woman I know and without her I wouldn’t have the life I do today. She’s seen me through thick and thin and always knows what to say to make me feel like I can take on the world.

If you could have one wish, what would it be?

If I was to have one wish it would be to have more wishes, but given that’s usually not allowed I’d say I wish the world was kinder, not just our in our policies or our views on different cultures but in the little everyday ways to.

Who would you most like to have dinner with?

If I could have dinner with anyone it would probably have to be Andre De Shields. Most recently I’ve adored his Old Deuteronomy in the revival musical Cats: The Jellical Ball, but he’s played some of the most iconic figures on Broadway.
