What is your favourite food?
Italian.
What is your favourite destination?
It’s hard to say! There are some favourites though, Bruges (there’s a very nice restaurant there called Ribs n’ Beer if you’re ever there), Genoa, Kanazawa and of course home.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work I like to Build and sell gaming computers. I would keep them, however, I don’t have the space. I also enjoy travelling and playing chess.
Who do you admire most, and why?
Linus Torvalds, if you’re not in tech you may not have heard of him but he’s the creator of several very important pieces of software such as Git, version controlling, which is very useful for software development and Linux, one of the three major desktop operating systems and almost all servers. The reason for why I admire him, however, is how in his early years he wrote directly in machine code (binary) to modify the operating system of his Sinclair QL, for fun.
If you had one wish, what would it be?
Unlimited wishes, but more seriously perhaps an extra hour in the day.
Who would you most like to have dinner with?
Probably Markus Aurelius, it would be interesting not only for the historical account, but also for what he thinks of modern life.
