Follow up… when running an event firms need to have a follow up plan in place before the event has happened. Who will contact the attendees afterwards, what message will be sent out and what useful resources can we share/good CAT. Capitalise on the relationship built at the event.

What’s one thing people often get wrong about events?

Not having a plan and running out of time to promote the event… having a clear event management plan and timeline with deadlines will ensure everyone involved knows what needs to be done and when. It will also ensure there is enough time to promote the event properly and maximise attendance.. If you have a plan, then deadlines can’t be missed!
