Leah is a graduate from Nottingham Trent University, where she studied journalism.
During her time there, she studied a plethora of modules, with her favourites being magazine journalism and fashion.
At home, she has a massive stack of Vogues, but she has now turned her hand to writing about taxation, legal updates and a wide range of other topics as part of our copywriting team.
What is your favourite food?
Definitely something Mexican, maybe a burrito (veggie, of course).
What is your favourite destination?
I would like to say somewhere exotic, but in all honesty it’s the fields behind my house! There is a massive lake which I walk around after work every day.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love shopping, getting my nails done, going on walks, doing my makeup, watching TV, reading and obviously doomscrolling on TikTok.
Who do you admire most, and why?
My mum is probably the person I admire the most. She has been a single parent for as long as I can remember, but that has never stopped her from giving my brother and me everything we could ever need in our lives.
If you could have one wish, what would it be?
A pretty selfish one, if I’m being honest, but I would love an easy £100 million. I would use (most of it) for some good, open rescue centres and employ all my family and friends and start myself a little fashion magazine. Of course, I would help my mom to retire, as well.
Who would you most like to have dinner with?
I would love to have a sit-down with Miranda Priestley (yes, from The Devil Wears Prada). She proved to be such an inspiration for many young people getting into fashion journalism
